Our services
We provide support in 3 main areas:
Community Interpreting
There are times when a friendly Community Member works much better than a professional interpreter
- Community Interpreting IS NOT a professional, licensed support - but we are able to provide it either much cheaper or for free.
- Community Interpreting works wonders during GP visits, job center meetings, council appointments and similar cases.
- The main thing you can count on when we’re there is not only faithful interpretation, but also empathy and support - imagine a knowledgeable friend, helping you with your errands!
- We always keep your content meetings confidential, and will follow all of the Protection rules to make sure you’re safe with us.
What’s the difference between Community and Professional Interpreting?
- A Community Interpreter is NOT a licensed professional - as such, you cannot expect their interpreting to be 100% accurate.
- Majority of our CI’s are migrants that are bilingual and have lived in the UK for years - their English is great and sufficient to deal with basic-level things (like a GP visit), but you still need a professional to visit a specialist (like a neurosurgeon)
- Our CI’s cannot provide you with official document translations
- This service is aimed at helping you overcome the barriers in access - for example, waiting list for a GP visit might be a week, but with interpreter - three weeks.
It is scary to live in a country where you cannot understand what is happening around you – a person who has just started learning English will not be able to communicate with an official on their own. That’s where we come in – we will provide you with a shoulder to lean on until you’re comfortable walking on your own.

Aspeera is about long-term growth and helping you develop, but on the way we encounter problems we cannot solve on our own – Great Britain is a wonderful place to live, but sometimes the system gets complex. We have experienced first hand how valuable it is to have someone support you through it – and now we want to offer that support to others!
